Does InVideo AI's free plan add a watermark?

If you searched this and landed on a pricing page, here is the mechanical reason. The vendor article your query names — “Can I use invideo AI for free?” — no longer mentions watermarks at all: the live version, vendor-dated Jun 15, 2026, contains the word zero times. An archived capture from Apr 18, 2026 still carried the paragraph verbatim: “All videos created and exported on the free plan have an invideo watermark and stock media watermarks on them,” followed by “You can remove watermarks from your video by upgrading to a paid plan.” The rule did not change — the documentation did.

There are three distinct marks, and a paid plan only clears some of them automatically. On a paid plan, the media watermarks that show in the preview come off at export — but the vendor's free-plan text is explicit that free exports carry both the invideo mark and stock-media marks, so that removal is a paid-plan rule, not a general one. Anything you exported before subscribing keeps its mark until you re-export the original project. And the username / “invideo AI branding” overlay stays on paid exports unless you set that option to None before downloading — the vendor documents that toggle as paid-plan-only. There is a downgrade trap too: once a paid plan lapses, editing an old video means paying again to download it clean.

On the Studio side, the vendor's own plan bullets read “invideo Watermark” for Free and “No watermark on videos” for Business and Unlimited, billed $180 and $360 annually. Two things we could not confirm on any vendor page, so we do not publish them: where the mark sits in the frame (third-party reports conflict between top-right and lower-right) and whether the free plan caps export resolution — the documented 720p figure is the *preview* default, not an export limit. On price, InVideo is oddly hard to pin down: invideo.io/pricing renders its plan cards in the browser and serves a fetcher no plan names and no numbers at all. The vendor does publish one figure elsewhere on its own site — an FAQ page puts Max at $100/month, well above the ~$50-60 third parties report — but not the Plus price, which is the tier that matters here.
