Narakeet inverts the problem: the minute is already the unit, so the only real decision is which one-time pack to buy. Because the per-minute rate falls as packs get bigger, the cheapest way to cover a given volume isn’t always the smallest pack that fits — and it’s never worth overbuying unless you’ll use the surplus, since the credits never expire but your money is spent now.

You enter the minutes of finished audio or video you need. Because Narakeet sells one-time packs rather than a subscription, the tool finds the cheapest single pack that covers your minutes and divides its price by your minutes to show your real per-minute rate. Buying a bigger pack than you need lowers the sticker but raises your effective rate until you use the surplus.

The rate falls with pack size: $0.20 at the $6 / 30-minute starter, $0.15 at $45 / 300 minutes, $0.10 at $100 / 1,000, $0.08 at $200 / 2,500, and $0.05 at the top. Credits never expire, so the volume rate is only worth it if you'll eventually use the minutes.
No. Narakeet's credits carry no expiry date, so a pack you buy today is still usable next year — which is exactly why pre-buying a large, cheaper pack can make sense even if you'll spread the minutes over a long time. Unused packs are also refundable within 14 days of purchase.
