Does Renderforest have a free plan?
Sort of — but be careful. Renderforest's pricing page is headed "Start Free, no credit card required," so a free entry point exists. But after Renderforest moved to a credit-based generative-AI model, the current pricing page renders no distinct Free-plan card and doesn't publish free-tier limits (credits, watermark, export caps). Older reviews describing a 360p watermarked free tier are quoting the retired per-export model. Paid plans start at Lite ($9/mo, or $8 annually). Checked on renderforest.com/pricing, Jul 22, 2026.
This is a case where the honest answer is "the vendor doesn't say clearly." The page's title and the "no credit card" line imply a free tier, but the current credit-based structure shows only three paid cards (Lite, Pro, Business) — no Free card with stated limits. We won't repeat the 360p/watermark numbers from older guides because those describe the model Renderforest replaced.
If a free entry matters to you, the reliable move is to check what Renderforest's signup actually grants today rather than trust a review. For the paid structure and the model overhaul, see the Renderforest pricing breakdown — note that 4K export specifically requires the Business plan.
