Renderforest Pricing (2026): It's a Credit-Based AI Model Now
Renderforest quietly replaced its old export-count plans with a credit-based generative-AI model — so every ranking pricing guide is describing tiers that no longer exist. Here's the current three-plan structure, read off the live page.
Direct answer
Renderforest now has three paid plans, verified on renderforest.com/pricing Jul 22, 2026: Lite ($9/mo, or $8/mo billed annually — 4,800 credits/year, 720p exports, 10GB), Pro ($39/mo, or $12/mo the first year then $24 — 19,200 credits/year, 1080p, 50GB) and Business ($59/mo, or $34.30 the first year then $49 — 4K exports). The big change: this is a credit-based generative-AI model spent on named models (Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.0, Nano Banana), not the old per-export Free/Lite/Pro/Business/Enterprise tiers most reviews still describe. Watermark-free export starts at Lite, video duration is unlimited on paid plans, and 4K specifically requires Business. Free-tier limits and commercial-license terms aren't printed on the current pricing page — check Renderforest's terms directly for those.

Evidence used
- The three-plan structure (Lite/Pro/Business) and all prices — Lite $9/$8, Pro $39/$12-then-$24, Business $59/$34.30-then-$49 — were read on renderforest.com/pricing on Jul 22, 2026.
- Credit allowances (Lite 4,800/yr, Pro 19,200/yr) and the per-model credit costs (Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0 Omni, Seedance 2.0, Nano Banana) come from the same live comparison table.
- Unlimited duration on paid plans and '4K requires Business' come verbatim from the page's own FAQ.
- The current pricing page shows no Free-plan card and no Enterprise card, and no commercial-license page rendered (guessed /licensing and /terms-of-use URLs 404'd) — so free-tier limits and commercial terms are flagged as unconfirmed rather than imported from stale third parties.
- Third-party guides describing a 360p free tier, $9.99 Lite and per-export caps are describing the retired model — not used here.
How we checked this
- We publish only figures read on Renderforest's live pricing page, and explicitly flag the free tier and license terms as not confirmed on a primary page rather than repeat stale third-party numbers.
- First-year promo prices are stated alongside the rate they revert to, so the real ongoing cost is visible.
Renderforest plans at a glance (verified Jul 22, 2026)
| Plan | Monthly | Annual (per mo) | Credits/yr | Export |

| Pro | $39/mo | $12 first yr → $24 | 19,200 | 1080p, 50GB |
| Business | $59/mo | $34.30 first yr → $49 | (higher) | 4K |
Credit-based model — credits are spent on named AI models at per-model, per-resolution rates. Pro and Business annual prices are first-year promos that revert; the revert rate is shown.
The model changed — credits, not exports
Renderforest replaced its old per-export tiers with a credit system spent on generative-AI models. Credits are denominated per year (Lite 4,800, Pro 19,200) and consumed at a per-model, per-resolution, per-second rate — so what a plan produces depends entirely on which AI model you render with.
If you're pricing Renderforest from a guide that lists a 360p free tier, a $9.99 Lite plan and per-video export caps, that guide is describing a product Renderforest no longer sells. The live page is a credit-based generative-AI tool: your yearly credit bank is spent on named models — Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0 Omni, Seedance 2.0, Nano Banana — each with its own credit cost per second and resolution.
The practical consequence mirrors [HeyGen's model-rate spread](/blog/heygen-credits-explained): the same credit bank yields very different output depending on the model. Renderforest's own table shows Lite's 4,800 credits making far fewer premium-model videos than Pro's 19,200 — so the plan choice and the model choice together determine cost, not the sticker alone. There's also a separate text-to-speech minute allowance (600 min on Lite, 1,200 on Pro).
Which plan, and the promo catch
Lite ($8–9) is the entry point with watermark-free 720p and unlimited duration. Pro adds 1080p and 4× the credits. Business is the only plan that exports 4K. Watch the annual promos: Pro's $12 and Business's $34.30 are first-year rates that revert to $24 and $49.
For most creators the real decision is resolution: Lite tops out at 720p, Pro at 1080p, and 4K is Business-only (the page's FAQ says so directly). All three remove watermarks and allow unlimited video duration on paid plans, so those aren't the differentiators — credits and resolution are.
The pricing catch is the first-year promo. Pro's headline $12/mo annual and Business's $34.30 both revert — to $24 and $49 respectively — after year one, so budget the ongoing rate, not the introductory one. Two things we deliberately don't state: the current free-tier limits (no Free card renders on the live page) and the commercial-license terms (Renderforest's terms page didn't resolve for us) — check those on Renderforest directly before committing to client work.
