For subscriptions: "You purchased or renewed your subscription within the last 30 days, and since the time of initial purchase or renewal, your subscription to the Services is unused, or close to unused." The accidental-annual-plan fix

If you meant to buy monthly but selected annual, switch in Plans and billing → Update Plan → the Monthly tab, and Runway credits the price difference to your account as a balance. For cash back instead, submit a support ticket with the annual invoice.

Runway has a documented remedy for the common annual-by-mistake purchase. If the charge already went through: Dashboard → Plans and billing → Update Plan → toggle the Monthly tab → pick your plan → Confirm.
